This tray was designed particularly for people who dry meats and other food in which a through cleaning and disinfecting of the trays are needed. These stainless steel trays will stand up to high temperatures and heavy cleaning. They can be placed into the dishwasher or steam cleaned and are made from the same high grade stainless steel we use in our commercial dehydrators.
The tray is constructed with 100% 304 stainless steel 1/4 inch square mesh so no poly screens are needed.
